Tuesday's Scrub Day Schedule!Because we failed the weekly house inspection, our freeday (out trip) becomes an 8 hour scrub day! Here's what we planned:
- exercises on the hour, every hour
- silence at work and during meals
- no watches to tell time (stop all house clocks and set them to 3:45pm and tell students,only 15 more minutes of scrubbing... only 15 more minutes... only 15...well, you get the idea)6:00am - 7:00am
- bedroom emaculation
(make beds, fold clothes, dust, sweep, mop, floor rag)7:00am - 8:00am
- room inspection & clean bedroom from scratch again
(it won't be good enough anyways!)8:00am - 9:00am
- breakfast / clean up - cream of wheat
(no milk, no sugar in it, hard & sour oranges,
mango pieces for good cleaners)9:00am - 12:00pm
- living room, dining room imacculated
- bad cleaners, rebellious students scrub
ONE tile for an hour without taking a knee12:00pm - 1:00pm
- lunch / clean up - tuna noodle salad, crackers & sardines!1:00pm - 4:00pm
- clean mudroom, jump, wash, rinse,
& hand-dry every dish in house
- machette grass (in pouring rain)
- emaculate House-mom's stove/oven4:00pm - 6:00pm
- good cleaners get personal responsibility time
- bad cleaners scrub a tile again!6:00pm - 7:00pm
- supper / clean up7:00pm - 9:30pm
- personal responsibilities, journals, devos
- mark "target goal" scores for each student9:30pm - bedtime
